In July 2011, FilmAid International and Sundance Institute came together to present FILM FORWARD in Kenya.

The cultural exchange program includes film screenings, conversations and workshops aimed at enhancing cross-cultural understanding, collaboration and dialogue around the globe.

The program took place alongside the FilmAid Film Festival, which showcases short films by young refugee filmmakers.
