Looks like 2011 will be the year when Taika Waititi is in his judges’ shoes.

61st Berlin International Film Festival “Berlinale” starts next month, February 10-20. Taika, who received the Grand Prix last year for Boy, has been invited to participate on the Generation International Jury to present awards valued at 10,000 Euros.  Then he’ll probably fly to Australia to be on the jury at the BigPond Adelaide Film Festival which starts on 24 February and runs till 6 March.

Good luck! That’s a lot of films to watch and choosing the winners is a tough job.

Anyway, it’ll be so great to have him on my continent. Actually… right across the border! *ded*
