Emmys 2020 nominations announced

72nd Emmy Awards Nominations were announced on July 28, 2020 and Taika Waititi has got two reasons to celebrate.

First, What We Do in the Shadows FX show has received 8 nominations, including for Outstanding Comedy Series.

Other seven nominations are in categories: Outstanding Production Design, Outstanding Casting, Outstanding Single-Camera Picture Editing, Outstanding Writing (individual nominations for writers of episodes “Collaboration”, “Ghosts”and “On the Run”), and Outstanding Sound Editing. Second, and this is something no one could expect but droids, Taika Waititi has been nominated for Outstanding Character Voice-Over Performance as IG-11 in The Mandalorian.
