The people of New Zealand have spoken

Taika Waititi has gone back to New Zealand to get what is rightfully his, to accept some more awards for BOY at the inaugural Visa Entertainment Screen Awards tonight. The ceremony took place in Auckland and was hosted by Kate Rodger.

The Awards featured 10 categories and each awards category was decided by a people’s choice system with voting open at http://www.facebook.com/VisaEntertainment, and via Reel Late With Kate, and TimeOut. Over 15,000 votes were received.

And what did our boys get?

CONGRATULATIONS!!! Choice, New Zealand ;)

Watch Taika’s acceptance speech here, which he should get a separate award for.
